January 2017 I landed on Maui to begin the next chapter of my life. A born & raised Texan, I left Houston with my husband and our dog Lexi in the pursuit of a slower, more intentional life. After being mesmerized by the ocean, mountains, and overall Maui magic on our honeymoon we knew this island was our true home. As a new mom spare time is hard to come by but when I’m not doing hair you can find me running, cooking & eating, loving on my dog, and working hard to live intentionally and sustainably while enjoying all that Maui has to offer. 

As of February 2021 I have been in the beauty industry for 13 1/2 years. I refined my skills through two separate apprentice programs and attended many classes including Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Heather Chapman, VoMor, Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Farouk, Wella, and Sebastian. 

While I love cutting, coloring, and being behind the chair in my lovely salon in North Kihei my true passion and specialty is bridal hair and special styling. Working On Location on Maui has allowed me to do wedding hair in Hana, Kihei, Wailea, Kaanapali, Haiku, Kula, and Wailuku. As a young girl I practiced updos on myself and in cosmetology school all of my free time was spent creating formal styles on mannequins. It is a true honor to be a part of a wedding day or special event. Lately I’ve also had the honor of styling hair for maternity shoots, family photos, and even just for special dinners. Whatever the occasion I am always excited to create a special hairstyle and love working On Location.
